Supply Chain Optimisation

Advanced analytics and IoT via smart containers help us to optimise our supply chain operations, reduce costs and improve performance. We executed on our strategy to install temperature telematics on our tank containers that transport temperature sensitive and

temperature critical products. Together with customers, we designed digital solutions that result in safer transport. In 2023, we will continue to define use cases to further improve these supply chain solutions.

We continued to enhance our supply chain visibility portal for our customers so that we can proactively share high-quality milestone shipment information based on real-time-best-effort data. We focused on even closer collaboration with our partners in the supply chain to increase data quality and our visibility coverage. We embrace developments in the visibility market, and we look forward to all the possibilities that 2023 will bring to further improve our solution, as our continuous focus.

We are increasingly able to connect with our key customers at a tactical and strategic level to resolve their supply chain challenges together, and our capacity planning is more organised than ever. The ability to predict supply and demand prevents a shortage of tank containers and increases customer satisfaction.

We finished the year with a historically low percentage of customer complaints. This showed that our service level and communication were under control, a tremendous effort given the turbulent and volatile times.

At Den Hartogh, we want our customers to receive the service they pay for. We aim to grow with our customers and achieve the right diversification of our customer base, whilst also ensuring risk distribution in our business operations.
