Employee Engagement

With the relaxation of COVID measures across Europe, we were finally able to organise some good celebrations linked to the postponed centenary parties planned in 2020. Our work takes up much of our day, so we feel it is important to have fun while working.

In 2022, we further developed our online learning platform Den Hartogh Academy. Several different learnings were brought together in a structured format and aligned online with individual roles and activities. The DHAcademy contributes to a working environment where personal development is stimulated and valued.

Our teams support and draw attention to wonderful social initiatives in the local communities we belong to. The corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme Den Hartogh Community Cares is active in every region in which we operate.

Over the last 2 years, a great deal of effort has been devoted to creating safe and enjoyable working environments for all our employees. This has positively affected employee engagement scores, where we scored significantly above the benchmark and moved us into the top 25% of the transportation industry.
