Employee Engagement
We successfully implemented a modern IT workplace at all our Den Hartogh sites, complete with state-of-the-art IT equipment to enhance efficiency and connectivity across the organisation. This reflects our commitment to creating an efficient, collaborative and growth-oriented workplace.
In 2023, we have implemented innovative IT solutions to improve the employee experience, focussing on user-friendly portals (including Workday a new People & Culture system), mobile applications, and collaboration tools.

Our #YourVoiceMatters engagement survey saw a significant increase in response rates, from 61% in 2022 to 81% in 2023. It is a clear illustration of its value and reinforces our dedication to a positive workplace culture.
We have held on to our strong position in the top 25% of the transportation industry when it comes to employee engagement. In 2023, the overall engagement score for the Den Hartogh Group was 8,1, which is 0,5 higher than the transportation benchmark.

This personal approach is embedded into the communities we are part of. Our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Den Hartogh Community Cares, is active in every region in which we operate. As part of this programme, our people give support to and raise attention for a host of wonderful social initiatives.
In 2023, we have continued strengthening our networked organisation by organising multiple worldwide events on the commercial, operational and technical level, in which every person was able to share their thoughts on safety, our business values and our strategy.
