Green Team

We have only just started with the Green Team, but we can already look back on promising results that will contribute to our company-wide sustainability goals. The business case for solar panels has been explored at our workshop in Duisburg, the Houston team is saving more than 400 plastic bottles and cans each month by a single initiative, we collect and recycle bottle caps in Bangkok, Dubai is reusing one-sided office paper and much more. In total, 15 offices with around 30 members represent the Green Team worldwide.

There is a great deal of passion within Den Hartogh regarding environmental sustainability. As a company, we gladly facilitate this, which is why we have set up a Green Team in 2023. The goal of the Green Team is to get more employees involved in our efforts regarding environmental sustainability, no matter how big or small the effort. We want to make environmental sustainability something everyone in our company can understand and be a part of.

Den Hartogh Community Cares

We stimulate and support our teams in participating or organising beautiful charitable initiatives within their local communities. The Den Hartogh Community Cares (DHCC) programme provides employees with the support to participate in socially responsible and charitable events and aims to combine and centralise knowledge of and passion for social responsibility. Our employees and passionate DHCC volunteers organised multiple community events around the world. 2023 saw us record the one hundred thirtieth DHCC initiative – a milestone of which we are incredibly proud, not only because of the efforts of our colleagues, but also because we were able to offer a helping hand to many local communities around the world.

Health is Wealth

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to safety is also reflected in the launch of our Health is Wealth programme in 2023, emphasising Minds, Bodies, and Connections. During World Mental Health Day, various locations organised workshops and events to underscore our ambition for an environment of belonging that prioritises the health, both physical and mental, and wellbeing of both ourselves and our colleagues.

As Den Hartogh, we embrace and live by a set of core values that reflect the chemistry and atmosphere we want to work in. We create the right environment to deliver our smart solutions.
